Aero.Academy

Which Aero.Academy plan fits your PPL(H)?

Free to try it out, Light for the theory phase, Pro for the serious final push. No subscription trap, cancel monthly.

Free – what you get without paying

You can try Aero.Academy without a credit card. The Free plan gives you access to a limited selection of practice questions from the EASA question catalogue for PPL(H), a sample learning path, and the dashboard with your progress display.

What you don't get on Free: the full question database, no adaptive learning paths across all nine theory subjects, and no AI-FI credits for explanations. Free is meant so you can look at the interface and see whether you like the way we explain things — not to pass your exam with it.

No time limit, no trial trap. If Free is enough for you, you stay free. If you need more, you switch to Light or Pro any time.

Light – for the theory phase on the side

Light is for you if you're studying independently alongside flight school and need a structured question trainer. You get:

  • Full access to the EASA PPL(H) question catalogue, all nine subjects
  • Adaptive repetition algorithm (spaced repetition) that brings up weak topics more often
  • Exam simulations with realistic time and question distribution
  • A monthly allowance of AI-FI credits for explanations of questions you don't understand

Light suits students who invest roughly two to four hours a week and only need the AI occasionally — for instance on aerodynamics questions or performance calculations where the official textbook stays thin. If you're in the final phase before the theory exam, take a look at Pro.

Pro – when you mean business

Pro is the plan for the hot phase: you've got your exam date in mind, you don't want to lose time, and you need the AI as a sparring partner.

You get everything from Light, plus:

  • A significantly larger monthly AI-FI credit allowance
  • Longer dialogues with the AI-FI — you can follow up, request examples, have calculation steps walked through one by one
  • Per-subject weakness analysis with concrete study recommendations
  • Export of your progress data (PDF)

In practice, Pro users use us five to ten hours a week. If you only study now and then, Pro is oversized — take Light. If you want to push through the theory in six to eight weeks, Pro is the right choice.

AI-FI credits – what you need them for

AI-FI credits are the unit of account for AI-assisted explanations. A short answer to a question clarification costs little; a longer dialogue with worked examples more. We show you transparently what each request costs before you send it.

Why credits at all? Because every AI answer costs real money at our model provider. We don't want to bill a flat rate and have that cross-subsidise heavy users.

Light includes a base allowance for occasional follow-ups. Pro includes an allowance for intensive study. Need more? You can buy credit packs on top — no subscription commitment, a one-off purchase. Unused credits from your plan expire at the end of the billing month; topped-up credits stay valid longer.

Payment via Stripe

We handle all payments via Stripe. In practice that means for you:

  • Credit card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • TWINT and PostFinance for accounts in Switzerland
  • SEPA direct debit for EU accounts
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay on mobile
  • Billing currency CHF or EUR, depending on your country

Your card details never land on our servers — Stripe handles that directly. Subscriptions cancel monthly, with cancellation a single click in the dashboard. After each payment you automatically get a PDF invoice by email — handy if you want to claim the theory costs against tax or through your employer.

Your pathway. Your theory. Get started.

PPL(H) or PPL(A) · CH, DE or AT — pick your pathway. Beta free, no credit card. Pro launches after the CFI(H) review — then 19 EUR/month or 149 EUR/year.

Aero.Academy does not replace official theory training at an ATO.
